For sale: Genuine 1970 Morris Minor Pickup
This classic Morris Minor starts and drives, but the brakes need adjusting and bleeding. All brake parts were purchased new. Here are the details:
- New chassis: Cost over £1,200
- Reconditioned engine: Done 4 years ago
- New clutch
- New brakes and master cylinder brake pipes
- New water pump
- New front floor panels
- New radiator and hoses
- New petrol tank and sender
- 2 new front tyres
- Old alloy wheels
- New exhaust
- Good front wings fitted
All these parts were bought within the last four years, but the pickup has only been driven for about 70 miles since. This project was a hobby, but I’m getting too old to continue with it, so it’s time to find it a new home.
- Receipts and log book: All in my name
- Tax and MOT free
Please note: The paintwork is in red oxide and could use a touch-up. The headlights are new and work fine. However, the body is 54 years old and shows its age. I don’t recommend driving it home due to the brake issue, though the handbrake works fine.
