The owner has a very comprehensive description on the advert as below.
For sale is our beloved campervan with an air awning and matching trailer. Unfortunately, due to my wife’s prolapsed disc, we can no longer use it. It has 150,000 miles on the clock, which shows kilometers.
Listed as a campervan on the logbook, it comes with 2 keys and fobs, an alarm, and central locking.
This 2.5 diesel automatic is mechanically sound, starts on the first turn of the key, and runs great, maintaining 70mph all day. Recently serviced, it has had a fuel pump rebuild, new alternator and belts, new glow plugs, new cold start solenoids, and vacuum pipes, new brake pads, and a blanked EGR. The gearbox shifts smoothly and it has plenty of power. The head was replaced before I bought it.
It has 12 months MOT and is completely solid underneath, with good arches. I have done all this work personally to ensure it’s done right. (Check out my YouTube channel to see the camper’s journey.) It’s a reliable and eye-catching van.
It features a side pull-out awning on one side and an air awning on the other, providing ample space. The included trailer is color-coded and galvanized, with no rust, and can be folded for storage.
The interior is in good condition, both front and rear. It is equipped with electric blinds, a 200-watt solar panel powering the fridge, lights, and USBs, a swap loom for working electrics with the ignition off, a sink with onboard running water, full electric hookup with fuse box and electric sockets, and a two-ring electric and gas hob. Everything works perfectly, and it comes with a cover for the windscreen.
A diesel heater, which runs off the van’s diesel tank, is fitted for colder nights. The pop-top works and includes a 4-inch mattress with an additional 2-inch mattress on top. Two adults can sleep comfortably up top, and the seats fold to make a bed. A new table has been installed for dining.
Only a few minor issues:
- A crack at the bottom of the screen, which has been present for the last 4 MOTs and hasn’t worsened (MOT advisory).
- Bubbling on the bottom of the boot door.
